What's been happening...

We were able to get the intake lines into the river last week and the pumps fired up right away. So far there have been no major issues and we were able to get some water on the greens before winter showed up again. All in all, everything is looking great so far. The brown spots around the greens and on the tee boxes is mostly ryegrass. I expect most of this to perk up once we get some sustained heat.

We have cleaned up all the trees we cut down on hole #3 last year. If you want to take any of the wood all we ask is that you let myself, John, or one of the board members know first. There is more than enough to go around.

We have cut down all of the cattails in the large pond on #7 & #8. We will continue to clean the pond in the next few days.

One last thing! We still have a lot of cleaning up to do throughout the course. There are a lot of small branches that need to be cleared from the fairways and tree rows. This takes a lot of time and money to clean up. If anyone would like to volunteer to help with anything at the course it would be greatly appreciated! Also, if there is anything on the course that you may think needs improvement and you are willing to volunteer to get it done don't hesitate to ask.
